Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in the De Plaen Laboratory at the Simpson Querrey Research Center.

The project studies blood vessels and lymphatics development in the neonatal intestine during NEC, using mouse models and single-cell/spatial transcriptomics. We seek highly motivated scientists with a PhD or MD in Medical or Biological sciences, strong molecular biology skills, and excellent writing and communication

Qualifications

• PhD or MD in medical/biological sciences.
• Experience with molecular biology and genetics.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Provide researchers with technical assistance.
• Perform genetic and molecular biology analyses.
• Analyze data and prepare results for reports.
• Prepare data for grants and publications.
• Assist in grant proposals and progress reports.
• Participate in lab meetings and seminars.
• Other duties as assigned.
