Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a Research Senior Technician to support cardiac ion channel biology studies. You will independently perform molecular, cellular, and biological experiments including PCR, gel electrophoresis, cell culture, and Western analyses, while assisting with data analysis and manuscript preparation.

You will also handle flow cytometry sample processing, routine animal procedures, and inventory management, under supervision of the principal investigator

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4 years of relevant experience required with High School diploma or GED, 2 years with Associate’s degree, or 0 years with Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support investigations in cardiac ion channel biology.
• Independently conduct experiments using molecular, cellular, and biological techniques.
• Record, analyze, and summarize research results for grants and manuscripts.
