• Experience in a biological/health science research capacity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, execute, and manage research projects in mitochondrial biology and cardiac cell research.
• Isolate mitochondria and perform functional assays.
• Measure mitochondrial redox state, ROS production, and oxidative stress.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation, reports, and presentations for conferences; assist in grant proposals.
• Coordinate laboratory activities and oversee routine maintenance of equipment.
