The New York State Psychiatric Institute’s Pathophysiology & Treatment Research (PTR) Division seeks a Research Project Manager III. This full-time role focuses on developing and delivering training and technical assistance for the Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Regional Center (ROTA-R) across Region 2.

You will serve as a subject-matter expert, designing curricula and coordinating with consultants, NCO, and rural stakeholders to advance evidence-based practices for opioid and stimulant use

Formación

  • Master’s degree in a Social/Behavioral Science or health-related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience providing training or technical assistance to the behavioral health workforce.
  • Minimum 3 years’ knowledge of best practices for treating substance use disorders including OUD.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a rural behavioral health context.

Responsabilidades

  • Develop and deliver training and TA activities for the ROTA-R Center in Region 2.
  • Serve as subject matter expert contributing to design and delivery of training events in rural communities.
  • Design curricula responsive to training and TA requests for ROTA-R.
  • Collaborate with consultants to complete training/TA projects on time.
  • Assist with marketing and outreach to raise awareness of ROTA-R events and resources.
  • Conduct rural outreach to generate training and TA requests.
  • Engage rural stakeholders to identify collaborations and opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Network Coordinating Office on network-wide activities.
  • Coordinate with ROTA support staff to ensure timely deliverables and evaluations.
  • Report progress to the Principal Investigator.
