The University of Massachusetts Medical School seeks a Senior Research Program Manager to oversee complex, multi-year, multi-site research projects under the PI’s direction. You will coordinate staff, faculty, and consultants across campuses to ensure timely implementation and evaluation of study work.

Responsibilities include developing project plans and budgets, supervising project staff, producing reports and papers, and facilitating communications among investigators and program stakeholders

Qualificações

• Master's degree or equivalent in Health Care Administration, Public Health, or a health policy related health care field.
• 7 years' experience in developing, implementing and evaluating research programs, including significant experience in project management, supervision of staff and fiscal responsibility, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of supervision and coordination of complex, federally funded, multi-site research projects in an academic setting.
• Communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, to interact with faculty, staff, and investigators and to produce reports suitable for an academic audience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement multi-year, multi-site research project plans.
• Convene and direct project teams including data staff, coordinators, and faculty.
• Prepare budgets and manage grant expenditures with the department administrator.
• Coordinate resources across UMass Chan Medical School and campuses; monitor progress and reports.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate project staff and per diem personnel.
• Publish scientific papers describing research results with the PI.
• Coordinate communications between on-site and sub-award PIs and manage stakeholder needs.
• Provide project management for day-to-day logistics and address performance issues.
• Perform other duties as required.
