Job summary

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene (RFMH) invites applications for a Research Project Manager III to lead training and technical assistance for the Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Regional Center (ROTA-R) in HHS Region 2. This full-time role emphasizes rural communities, evidence-based practices, and coordination with regional partners.

Responsibilities include curriculum design, SME leadership, marketing, and stakeholder engagement to meet project deliverables.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant Social/Behavioral Science or health-related discipline.
Minimum 3 years' experience providing training or technical assistance to the behavioral health workforce.
Minimum 3 years' experience with best practices for treatment of substance use disorders including OUD.
Minimum 1 year of rural behavioral health context knowledge.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver training and technical assistance for the ROTA-R Center in HHS Region 2.
Serve as SME contributing to design and delivery of training and TA events in rural communities.
Design curricula responsive to training and TA requests for ROTA-R.
Collaborate with consultants to complete training/TA timely.
Assist with marketing and outreach to build awareness of ROTA-R events.
Conduct outreach in rural communities to generate TA requests.
Engage rural stakeholders in Region 2 to identify opportunities for collaboration.
Coordinate with Network Coordinating Office to meet network-wide obligations.
Coordinate with ROTA support staff to ensure timely deliverables and include evaluation.
Report progress to the PI on ongoing requests.
