Job summary

You will collaborate with the Department Administrator and advise faculty on sponsored research applications and financial management.

You will lead special projects, partner with Institute central offices, and help set strategy across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to manage complex portfolios across multiple labs and funding sources.
• Strong collaboration with faculty, researchers, and central offices.

Responsibilities

• Grant preparation (pre-award) for sponsored research applications.
• Portfolio management (post-award) including financial and narrative reporting.
• Procurement: initiate and approve purchase requests; verify funds.
• Human resources: onboarding, salary offers, visa processes; ongoing management.
• Compliance: ensure adherence to internal/external policies and NIH/DFC policies.
• Cores, centers and chargebacks: pricing development and monthly billing.
