Cabaletta Bio is seeking a Research Associate/Sr. Research Associate for our Preclinical Research team in Philadelphia, on-site. You will conduct cell-based assays, generate and maintain cell lines, and perform IND-enabling work under supervision.

The role offers exposure to molecular biology and immunology applications in cell therapy development. The position emphasizes meticulous record-keeping, adaptation to new techniques, and collaborative work in a growing biotech environment at Cabaletta

Qualificações

• Must have MS in Biology or Bioengineering (or related field) with 0–3 years experience, or a bachelor’s with 2–4+ years in biotech.
• General lab skills including aseptic techniques and handling human tissue.
• Experience in mammalian cell culture, media prep, and cell bank management.
• Flexible, highly organized, able to work independently with training.
• Strong written communication and excellent record-keeping.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, bank, and manage diverse cell lines including primary cells.
• Generate cell lines using lentivirus for suspension cells.
• Perform cytotoxicity and other cell-based assays.
• Execute IND-enabling assays per SOPs and proper documentation.
• Follow cGLP and lab safety policies and SOPs; maintain records.
