Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Research Associate III to lead the technical transfer of product components from Development to Manufacturing. You will apply advanced scientific principles to ensure manufacturability and prepared complex manufacturing documents.

You will perform pilot reagent manufacturing, coordinate cross-functional teams, and mentor junior staff while ensuring GMP/GLP compliance and high-quality data reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science and 4 years of relevant lab/industry experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex assays independently.
• Proficient with Excel/Word; developing skills in JMP or Minitab for data interpretation.
• Strong technical writing to draft validation reports and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical transfer of product components from Development to Manufacturing.
• Perform pilot reagent manufacturing, including execution and testing of pilot reagent builds.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and ensure transfer timelines are met.
• Write and review validation protocols, manufacturing docs, and technical reports with high accuracy.
