Genentech in Tucson is seeking a Research Associate III to lead the technical transfer of product components from Development to Manufacturing, applying advanced scientific principles to ensure manufacturability and to draft complex manufacturing documents.
You will perform pilot reagent manufacturing, coordinate cross‑functional workstreams to meet transfer timelines, assist in DOE studies, uphold GMP/GLP and Design Controls, and provide mentorship to junior colleagues.
As a Research Associate III in the Assay Transfer team, you will be responsible for leading the technical transition of specific product components from Development to Manufacturing. You will apply advanced scientific principles to ensure manufacturability, lead the preparation of complex manufacturing documents, and identify process improvements. You will operate with significant autonomy, requiring minimal supervision on routine tasks and acting as a technical resource for more junior staff.
You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, and 4 years of relevant laboratory/industry experience (required)

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Tucson is 69,700.00 - 129,400.00 USD Annual.
Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
