Brown University’s School of Public Health invites applications for a Senior Research Assistant (Clinical). The role supports the SQuAD Core with day-to-day research tasks, participant interactions, data collection, and coordination across sites. It requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of experience, with possible travel, nights, and weekends as needed.
The position is fixed‑term through 10/31/2027, onsite five days a week, with background checks and education verification required.
The Senior Research Assistant (Clinical) role is to support and carry out research activities for the Survey, Qualitative and Applied Data (SQuAD) Research Core as assigned. In accordance with the project goals, and under the direction of the SQuAD leadership team, this position will support the day-to-day execution of a range of project-related tasks, including interactions with the research team, study participants, suppliers, stakeholders, and other members of community or Brown University.
Research activities may include managing the study recruitment/enrollment, data collection, participant compensation, coordinating specimen collection and bio-inventories, and compiling and entering data into project databases.
Other job responsibilities may include participant tracking and management, project documentation, administrative support, programing surveys, creating reports, and supporting manuscript activities as needed. The ideal candidate will be flexible, service-oriented, resourceful, and have strong communication skills and research-related experience.
May occasionally require travel to various research sites, including being available to work nights and weekends as needed.
This is an onsite position at the Brown University School of Public Health, 5 days a week.

This is a fixed-term position with a current end date of 10/31/2027, which may be extended based upon available funding.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
