Brown University’s School of Public Health seeks a Senior Research Assistant (Clinical) to support the SQuAD Research Core. This onsite role involves day-to-day study activities, participant recruitment/enrollment, data entry, and coordinating with the research team, participants, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has a BA and 3–5 years of related experience; strong communication, time management, and software skills (Microsoft Office, Qualtrics). Travel to sites may be needed.
The Senior Research Assistant (Clinical) role is to support and carry out research activities for the Survey, Qualitative and Applied Data (SQuAD) Research Core as assigned. In accordance with the project goals, and under the direction of the SQuAD leadership team, this position will support the day-to-day execution of a range of project-related tasks, including interactions with the research team, study participants, suppliers, stakeholders, and other members of community or Brown University. Research activities may include managing the study recruitment/enrollment, data collection, participant compensation, coordinating specimen collection and bio-inventories, and compiling and entering data into project databases. Other job responsibilities may include participant tracking and management, project documentation, administrative support, programing surveys, creating reports, and supporting manuscript activities as needed. The ideal candidate will be flexible, service-oriented, resourceful, and have strong communication skills and research-related experience. May occasionally require travel to various research sites, including being available to work nights and weekends as needed. This is an onsite position at the Brown University School of Public Health, 5 days a week. All offers of employment are contingent upon a criminal background check and education verification satisfactory to Brown University. This is a fixed-term position with a current end date of 10/31/2027, which may be extended based upon available funding.
