Job summary

Brown University’s School of Public Health seeks a Senior Research Assistant (Clinical) to support the SQuAD Research Core. This onsite role involves day-to-day study activities, participant recruitment/enrollment, data entry, and coordinating with the research team, participants, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a BA and 3–5 years of related experience; strong communication, time management, and software skills (Microsoft Office, Qualtrics). Travel to sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred: Public health research experience
• Preferred: Recruitment of hard-to-reach populations and conducting interviews
• Preferred: Grant funding and IRB procedures experience
• Preferred: Experience with diverse professional staff, staff development and motivation
• Preferred: Experience with bio-samples processing and inventory

Responsibilities

• Manage study recruitment/enrollment.
• Coordinate data collection and entry into project databases.
• Communicate with research team, participants, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Provide participant compensation and tracking.
• Support manuscript activities and report creation.
• Travel to research sites as needed.
