Voya Investment Management LLC seeks a Research Analyst to support its Income & Growth team, generating high conviction investment insights across the US Financial Services sector. You will collaborate with portfolio managers on stock selection and communicate buy/sell ideas clearly.

The role requires deep industry expertise in banks, insurers, asset managers, fintech, and related subsectors, with a track record of differentiated research that drives alpha.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in equity or credit research, investment management, investment banking, or consulting focusing on financial institutions.
• Deep understanding of bank and insurance company financial statements, regulatory capital frameworks, and sector specific valuation methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to generate differentiated insights and a track record of successful investment recommendations.
• Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead fundamental research coverage of financial institutions, including banks, insurance companies, fintech platforms, and other specialty finance businesses.
• Develop detailed financial models, valuation frameworks, and scenario analyses to assess company performance, capital structure, regulatory impacts, and macro sensitivities.
• Produce high quality, actionable investment recommendations supported by rigorous analysis and industry insight.
• Monitor sector developments, regulatory changes, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic trends that influence investment outcomes.
• Partner closely with portfolio managers to shape investment strategy, position sizing, and risk management decisions.
• Present investment theses, risk assessments, and ongoing updates to the investment committee with clarity and conviction.
• Identify mispriced securities and thematic opportunities across the capital structure (equity, credit, hybrids, preferred, etc., depending on firm mandate).
