Voya Financial in New York, NY is seeking a qualified investment professional to source and manage asset-based finance investments across the full lifecycle—from origination through underwriting, execution and monitoring.

The role emphasizes credit analysis, financial modeling, and collaboration with senior analysts and portfolio managers to assess risk, structure transactions, and monitor portfolios in a dynamic financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree; CFA Designation or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of capital markets experience at an investment bank, asset manager, or buy-side institution; specific experience in structured finance and asset-based finance is required.
• Demonstrated credit analysis skills, including assessing creditworthiness, structure, investment merits and key risks of asset-based and structured finance transactions.
• Advanced data analysis and structured finance modeling skills; Excel-based cash flow and scenario modeling; Python programming experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of transaction documentation, covenant frameworks, structural protections, and creditor remedies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for presenting analyses to senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in AI-enabled tools and governance for investment analysis with controls.

Responsibilities

• Source and manage asset-based finance investments across the full investment lifecycle.
• Lead due diligence, evaluate transactions, and coordinate with issuers, sponsors, and advisors.
• Develop financial models and present underwriting analyses and diligence findings.
• Monitor credit quality and portfolio performance, handle investor reporting and client requests.
• Collaborate with investment teams to improve tools, processes and reporting capabilities.
