Job summary

University of Florida’s Office of Research is seeking a Research Administrator II to oversee contracts and grants from inception to closeout. You will support ERM with policy guidance and communicate complex research administration guidelines to faculty and staff.

This role ensures compliance with university, state, and federal regulations, handling fiscal management, reporting, and operational oversight of funded projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in grant/contract administration or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre-award support for grants, contracts, and clinical trials with strict compliance.
• Manage post-award accounting of grants and contracts with autonomy.
• Prepare budgets, transfers, and financial reports for PIs.
• Develop SOPs for grant and contract management and negotiate terms.
