Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in the United States seeks an experienced Rental HVAC Service Technician III to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, including large chillers, boilers, air handling units, and BAS controls, while delivering excellent customer service.

You will manage field reports, operate equipment, promote Carrier products, and adhere to EHS protocols, with travel up to 50% and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Type 4 - EPA Universal Certification required.
• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience and 3+ years with related systems.
• Valid Driver’s License and forklift certification or ability to obtain.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work overtime; physically capable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment including air-cooled/water-cooled systems, boilers, hydronics, pumps and controls.
• Maintain accurate field service reports and timekeeping logs.
• Use power and hand tools to service rental systems; operate equipment vehicles and forklifts.
• Load/unload trucks and communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Provide sales leads and promote Carrier products; support training and safety.
• Adhere to EHS protocols and assist in start-ups/teardowns.
