Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an experienced Rental HVAC Service Technician to join our field service team in Phoenix. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a broad range of commercial HVAC systems, including large chillers and boilers, while managing field reports and customer communications.

You will perform start-ups/teardowns, operate tools, and ensure strict safety and EPA compliance. The role requires travel up to 50% and a strong focus on customer service and Carrier product

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• EPA Type 4 - Universal Certification required.
• 1+ years hands-on experience with HVAC systems (air-cooled/water-cooled).
• 3+ years Commercial HVAC experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License; forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50% and work overtime.
• Experience with Windows OS, MS Outlook, IE or similar browsers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of commercial HVAC systems including chillers and boilers.
• Manage field reports, refrigerant tracking and timekeeping logs.
• Operate power tools and equipment; load/unload trucks and move materials.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and subcontractors.
• Promote Carrier products and services to customers.
• Adhere to EHS protocols and assist in start-ups/teardowns.
