Job summary

Carrier Rentals HVAC Technician III is an onsite role in Houston, TX. The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, from air-cooled to water-cooled systems, boilers, hydronics, and related components.

The job requires field reports, equipment operation, and strong customer service while promoting Carrier products. The position demands 5+ years in commercial HVAC, EPA Type 4 certification, and ability to travel up to 50% with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; EPA Universal Type 4 certification.
• 3+ years with air/water-cooled systems and boilers; 5+ years commercial HVAC.
• Valid driver's license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; travel up to 50%.
• Proficiency with Windows, MS Outlook and basic browser use.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, pumps and controls.
• Maintain field service reports, timekeeping logs and refrigerant tracking.
• Operate tools, load/unload trucks, and manage site safety and efficiency.
• Provide customer-facing support and promote Carrier products and services.
