The Hanover Insurance Group in Massachusetts seeks a Senior Portfolio Underwriter to manage renewal commercial lines and drive profitability across assigned accounts. You will collaborate with production underwriters and agency partners to optimize retention, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities while maintaining underwriting discipline.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 3+ years of renewal underwriting experience including proven results in production, service and quality metrics.
• Ability to underwrite multi-line accounts up to $100,000 premium size (and higher) with sound judgment.
• Proficiency in underwriting systems and documenting workflows.
• Strong relationship building, teamwork and collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Understanding of Small Commercial goals and a track record of achievement.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite and manage Commercial Lines renewal business for assigned agency accounts.
• Price exposures in line with retention and new money objectives to support P&L targets.
• Provide product knowledge to agents to promote Hanover products.
• Coordinate renewal activities with colleagues to optimize retention.
• Participate in field visits and agency relationship development as appropriate.
