This full-time role offers a hybrid or fully remote work arrangement and involves underwriting technology-related risks, pricing, and portfolio management to drive profitable growth while aligning with our appetite and market goals.

Ideal candidates have 3–7+ years in standard commercial lines underwriting, a Bachelor’s degree, and a track record with accounts

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in standard commercial lines underwriting.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with accounts $100K+ is preferred.
• Proficiency with underwriting systems/tools.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and price Technology specialty coverages with guidance as needed.
• Manage a portfolio to achieve premium and profitability goals.
• Apply underwriting concepts including risk selection, hazard identification, and loss analysis.
• Analyze financial reports and market factors to inform risk decisions.
• Provide accurate rating instructions and ensure regulatory compliance.
