Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services in Denver seeks a Renewal Underwriter with 6+ years of experience and a valid license to review, underwrite, and rate renewal business. You will collaborate with Retail Producers and Account Managers to secure complete submissions, quote pricing, negotiate terms, and coordinate policy delivery.

You will serve as a technical expert, resolve complex coverage questions, maintain renewal pipelines, and ensure data integrity in the agency system while sustaining strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six (6) or more years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of insurance industry.
• Valid Insurance License.
• Must continue to meet requirements for license renewal.
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State.

Responsibilities

• Underwrites a renewal book of business in accordance with underwriting guidelines.
• Collaborate with brokers/agents to negotiate renewal terms and maintain strong business relationships.
• Analyzes policies and endorsements to identify errors, omissions or discrepancies to ensure agreement with application, quote, proposal, and/or binder.
• Issues policies and endorsements; binds coverage and coordinates binders/evidences.
• Maintains and manages renewal spreadsheet.
• Coordinates the preparation of policy delivery with all related documents.
• Services Renewal Underwriter calls, answers questions regarding client coverage, limits and deductibles.
• Maintains files for renewal submissions and written or lost business.
• Maintains client suspense and conducts follow-ups as appropriate.
• Serves as a technical expert, assisting Account Managers to resolve complex issues.
• Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).
