Job summary

Enel North America is seeking a Sr. Transactions and Structuring Manager to join its Business Development team in the United States.

The role drives investment analysis, structuring, and financing for renewable energy and energy storage projects across the development lifecycle. You will lead investment proposals, coordinate due diligence, and optimize projects to maximize risk-adjusted returns, while collaborating with Development, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Tax, and Legal.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of renewable energy project development, M&A, finance, structuring or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education.
• Knowledge of project development, transaction negotiations and investment valuation.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license for travel in US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, structuring, optimization, acquisitions and divestitures of renewable projects.
• Develop and maintain investment assumptions, business cases, and valuation models.
• Prepare investment proposals for internal approval bodies.
• Drive optimization to maximize risk-adjusted returns across the development lifecycle.
• Coordinate due diligence and negotiate terms with Legal, Finance, Tax and advisors.
• Support transition of approved projects into execution and governance.
