Job summary

Enel North America is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager II to lead the procurement process for large capital investments related to renewable assets. You will issue tenders, evaluate proposals, and finalize contracts with internal and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes long‑term value, risk mitigation, and cross‑functional collaboration across technical, financial, and legal teams. Travel up to 20% is required, with a comprehensive benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering/Construction/Economics/Mathematics/Statistics or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in engineering/Construction/Economics/Mathematics/Statistics would be a plus.
• Experience in power plants and/or large infrastructural projects strongly desirable (renewable energy a plus).
• International project management or supply chain certifications are a plus.
• 3-5 years in procurement or project management in the Renewable Industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive procurement activities from tender to contract finalization and ERP entry.
• Follow Enel North America policies to ensure transparent, traceable processes.
• Define tender strategy and evaluate supplier proposals and value items.
• Coordinate internal/external stakeholders and manage timelines.
• Negotiate to maximize value while mitigating delivery risks.
• Engage in vendor relationship management and market knowledge growth.
