Job summary

The New York Power Authority seeks a Senior Technical Business Development Manager (Renewables) to drive performance modeling reviews and technical design for utility-scale renewables and storage projects.

You will optimize energy yield, reliability, and financial performance, supporting project origination and evaluation with cross-functional teams across engineering, permitting, finance, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years in energy/strategy consulting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical due diligence for renewable projects and JV opportunities.
• Develop and validate energy production models for solar, wind, and storage.
• Collaborate with engineering, permitting, finance and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and drive project lifecycle execution.
