Job summary

EDF power solutions North America is seeking an entry-level Renewable Energy Technician to support on-site wind, solar, and storage assets in Cabery, IL. Under supervision, you will assist with maintenance, inspections, and repairs of equipment and systems, while learning EDF Core values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 to 1 year related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Ability to successfully complete safety and technical training program for the entry level technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and repair of wind turbines and photovoltaic power and energy storage systems.
• Support technicians with routine maintenance and new equipment installation; assist with inspection, troubleshooting and repair.
• Test electrical components, mechanical and hydraulic systems, and collect equipment data for analysis.
• Adhere to safety protocols and EDF Core Values in all tasks.
• Document completed jobs and complete daily work orders and reports.
