Job summary

ContourGlobal, a KKR company, is seeking a Senior Renewables Energy Project Engineer based in Vienna. You will join the Engineering & Construction team, delivering technical leadership for greenfield wind projects, supporting M&A/TDD activities, and steering engineering development from concept through construction across Europe.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical or electronic is preferable)
• Experience: 10+ years in energy sector projects, 6+ years in Wind as Project Engineer/Technical PM
• Languages: fluent in German and English (written and spoken)

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical expertise for greenfield wind projects across Europe
• Support TDD in M&A transactions for assets under construction and in operation
• Lead engineering development from design to execution for utility-scale renewables
• Manage schedules, SoW definitions, and drawings/contracted engineering work
• Coordinate with EPCs, suppliers, and internal teams for decisions and approvals
