Job summary

Scout seeks a Sr. Project Development Manager to guide U.S. wind, solar, and battery projects through all development stages from a Boulder, CO base with a hybrid schedule.

You will finalize land control, coordinate interconnections, and manage environmental, permitting, and contracting activities to deliver profitable projects. You will drive development across MISO, ERCOT, and PJM regions, travel ~50% to sites, mentor staff, and apply rigorous financial analysis to optimize value and risk for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college program.
• 5+ years of wind and/or solar development experience.
• Experience with full-cycle utility-scale wind/solar/battery development.
• Extensive knowledge of interconnection, permitting, real estate, regulation, and utility procurement goals in U.S. energy markets.
• Willing to travel roughly 50% and work in a collaborative, flat organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S.-based wind, solar, and battery projects through all development phases.
• Finalize land control, coordinate interconnection milestones, and manage environmental reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and lead negotiations for contracts and terms.
• Engage with landowners, regulators, utilities, and other stakeholders.
• Travel to project sites to assess opportunities and secure land rights.
