Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Senior Director, Renewable Development, to lead utility-scale solar, energy storage, and wind projects in the Southwestern United States. Office locations include Portland or Denver, with travel to Nevada, Utah, and Arizona as part of development activities.

You will manage development, secure site control, coordinate permits, and lead interconnection and budgeting efforts while aligning with long-term company strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 10+ years of experience in renewable/clean energy or related field.
• Travel anticipated 25–40% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Manage wind, solar, and/or energy storage projects in the Southwest U.S.
• Lead development activities in early, mid, and/or late stages of the project.
• Align projects with long-term company strategy and initiatives.
• Identify development prospects, market assessments, and site reconnaissance.
• Secure site control via leases, easements, and landowner agreements.
• Coordinate landowner communication efforts and permit processes.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, landowners, officials, and stakeholders.
• Initiate and manage interconnection activities.
• Oversee project design and budgeting/scheduling.
• Manage tasks within budgets and schedules with internal/external teams.
