Job summary

Invenergy LLC, headquartered in Chicago, seeks a Senior Manager of Renewable Development to lead utility-scale solar and wind projects across the upper Midwest. You will guide development from early to late stages, align with long-term strategy, and manage staff, consultants, and land agents.

The role requires travel to MN, SD, ND, and IA, strong leadership and stakeholder skills, and a track record in real estate, transmission, and power project engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 8+ years of work experience in renewable and clean energy.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: business or engineering degree; MBA or master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage development of utility-scale solar and wind projects in the upper Midwest.
• Lead development activities in early, mid, and late stages.
• Align projects with long-term company strategy and initiatives.
• Manage staff, consultants, and land agents.
• Travel as needed to MN, SD, ND, or IA.
• Identify development prospects and conduct site assessments.
• Secure site control, negotiate leases and land agreements.
• Coordinate landowner communication and permits.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with stakeholders and officials.
• Oversee interconnection activities and project design.
• Assist budgeting, scheduling, and internal/external support.
