Humana, Inc. is seeking a Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 3 to support pharmacists in REMS medication preparation, coordination, and compliance.

This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to perform advanced administrative tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Remote/work-at-home opportunity available for residents in AZ, FL, OH, or TX with a 6-week training schedule and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in applicable state(s) as required by law.
• National Certification: PTCB (CphT) or ExCPT.
• Minimum 2 years pharmacy technician experience with strong data entry.
• Proficient in MS Office and learning new platforms (SharePoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in REMS medication preparation and handling.
• Contact physicians to clarify prescriptions and enter orders when appropriate.
• Ensure REMS-specific processes are followed and maintain communication with patients and providers.
• Prioritize requests with discretion and perform independently with minimal supervision.
