Fortra is seeking a skilled automation/analytics professional to analyze efficiency opportunities and automate processes in Security Operations. You will review workflows, identify automation potential, and develop PoCs backed by metrics.

Collaboration with stakeholders handling phishing, brand abuse, and cyber threats is central. Proficiency in Python, API usage, and device emulation is required, with on-call support for off-hours incidents.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 2-3 years of software development experience.
• 4-5 years of data analysis experience leveraging SQL
• Understanding of joins, indexes, query optimization and relational table design
• 4-5 years of scripting experience in Python
• Experience with Flask, creating libraries, Python packaging and CI/CD
• 3-4 years of experience in the Cybersecurity industry
• Understanding of DNS, Proxies, Whois, SSL

Responsabilidades

• Develop scripts and applications in Python
• Analyze data and processes to identify automation opportunities
• Meet with stakeholders to define requirements and provide time estimates
• Develop quick proof of concepts to vet ideas
• Produce metrics showing automation impact
• Monitor applications and troubleshoot errors
• On-call support as needed for applications
