Job summary

Skydio, Inc. is looking for a Key Account Leader, Majors, Public Safety to own a named set of top public safety accounts across the United States.

You will run full-cycle, quota-bearing deals, from initial outreach to award, while shaping the agency’s procurement path and securing funding for autonomous flying robotics programs. This role emphasizes building trusted relationships with city and county leaders, leveraging MEDDPICC, and collaborating with Sales Engineering, Government Relations,

Qualifications

• 6+ years carrying an individual quota in enterprise software, hardware, or SaaS sales.
• Proven full-cycle deals experience with multi-stakeholder environments.
• Ability to build your own pipeline and show sourcing of closed business.
• Disciplined qualification and a forecast you can trust.
• Experience selling through channel partners.
• Daily use of AI tools and related workflows in sales.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% and base in the region.

Responsibilities

• Own a territory plan and build a robust account map across major public safety agencies.
• Lead full-cycle deals from discovery to award with MEDDPICC rigor.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineering, BDRs, and partners to win complex multi-stakeholder deals.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and transparent pipeline integrity.
• Develop multi-thread relationships across police, fire, and emergency management leadership.
