Job summary

829 Studios is seeking a Lead Paid Search Strategist to own and optimize campaigns for enterprise clients within the Marketing Services department. You will strategize, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior colleagues while potentially managing direct reports in the future.

You’ll focus on campaign strategy, performance monitoring, client communication, and delivering data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6-8 years managing paid advertising programs.
• Proficiency in Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Google Docs.
• Deep understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hubspot Analytics, or similar.
• Understanding of landing page best practices and optimization techniques.
• Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com.
• Experience with pixeling and conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager or other means.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Google Data Studio, NinjaCat, TapClicks, or similar.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience juggling multiple projects and paid advertising campaigns simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, develop, and maintain multiple digital advertising campaigns for a portfolio of enterprise-sized businesses.
• Monitor campaign effectiveness related to client goals, conversions, and events.
• Update clients regularly on the status of their digital initiatives.
• Prepare client deliverables from kickoff documents to rolling reporting.
• Develop projections and forecasting for client executive teams during engagements.
• Advise clients on achieving business goals via digital advertising.
• Present to client POCs and executive/board teams at different levels.
• Serve as a technical resource to other departments and peers.
• Conceptualize and implement departmental process improvements.
• Assist with candidate interviews and departmental hiring.
• Onboard, coach, and supervise junior reports if interested.
