Job summary

Griffin is a UK-regulated bank providing the banking backbone for product-led fintechs. We’re remote-first across the UK, with a London office option.

You’ll build and run our first-line controls program, working with deeply technical specialists and senior stakeholders to scale control frameworks and deliver confidence to the business. In the first year you’ll stand up controls capabilities from scratch, own the RCSA process for the Service guild, and develop QA/QC testing, MI and dashboards

Qualifications

• Experience in operations QA/QC, control testing or operational risk within a bank or financial institution.
• Ability to review processes, spot errors, weaknesses and gaps.
• Proven ability to improve controls and produce QA/QC reports.

Responsibilities

• Quality assurance reviews and quality control testing across operations, ensuring processes are executed per procedures.
• Sample-based testing and control checks to identify errors, gaps, and risks.
• Develop corrective action and remediation plans with operations teams.
• Support the Service guild controls attestation framework and first-line RCSA exercises.
• Create QA/QC testing frameworks, checklists, sampling methodologies, and quality standards.
• Produce regular QA/QC MI and reporting feeding Griffin's operational risk reporting.
• Coordinate internal/external audits and regulatory reviews with evidence of controls.
