Job summary

NatWest is seeking a Senior Risk & Controls Associate to help develop, manage and embed our risk and control mechanisms across the business, ensuring we meet regulatory expectations and maintain strong governance.

Day-to-day, you will partner with Product and Operations to design compliant solutions, guide risk management, and drive the evolution of risk indicators and controls across products and services. This role supports a remote-first work model and requires strong collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk, compliance or regulatory management.
• Familiarity with banking regulations (e.g., BCOBs, Consumer Duty) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product/Operations and other teams to design and implement compliant solutions.
• Provide guidance on risk and control management to meet regulatory obligations.
• Develop and maintain risk-based controls framework and key risk indicators.
• Collaborate with NatWest stakeholders to prioritise policies and processes.
