Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience.
• Maintain own estimating software; Xactimate preferred.
• Working computer with internet access and Microsoft Word required.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to take recorded statements.
• State adjuster license where required; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Completes residential and commercial field property inspections using Xactimate to determine negligence and damages.
• Investigate claims by obtaining statements from insureds, claimants or witnesses and by inspecting claimed damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation with well-supported reserve reports.
• Obtain and interpret official reports and review applicable coverage forms.
• Provide thorough analysis of coverage issues in initial captioned reports to clients.
• Maintain quality by following client Best Practices.
