Job summary

Provencher & Company is seeking Multi-Line Claims Adjusters who can work remotely and handle both property and liability claims, including commercial and residential losses. The role requires assessing negligence, damages, and coverage while delivering thorough, well-supported reports to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years first-party commercial and/or residential property and liability adjusting experience.
• Maintain own current estimating software; Xactimate preferred.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• State adjuster’s license where required; valid driver’s license.
• Ability to adjust property and liability claims and assess damages.

Responsibilities

• Completes residential and commercial field property inspections using Xactimate and field investigations to determine negligence and damages.
• Investigate claims by obtaining statements from insureds, claimants or witnesses; by interviewing officials and inspecting claimed damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation, through well supported reserve report.
• Review applicable coverage forms and endorsements, providing thorough analysis of coverage and any coverage issues in well documented initial captioned report to client.
• Maintain acceptable product quality through compliance with established Best Practices of client and Provencher & Company.
