Job summary

Provencher & Company is seeking experienced Multi-Line Claims adjusters to work remotely nationwide. You will handle both commercial and residential property losses as well as liability claims, evaluating negligence and damages with minimal supervision.

The role requires strong investigative and reporting skills, familiarity with Xactimate, and valid licensure where needed. A background check is required, with support for a flexible, nationwide remote work model.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of first-party commercial or residential property and liability adjusting experience.
• Proficiency with Xactimate preferred; maintain own estimating software.
• Working computer, internet access and Microsoft Word required.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to take recorded statements in the field or with legal representatives.
• Experience in preparing Statements of Loss, Proofs of Loss, and denial letters.
• State adjuster license where required; valid driver’s license.
• Background check required; ensure compliance with client best practices.

Responsibilities

• Completes residential and commercial field property inspections utilizing Xactimate and general liability field investigations to determine negligence and damages.
• Investigate claims by obtaining recorded statements from insureds, claimants or witnesses; interview officials and inspect damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation with well-supported reserve reports.
• Obtain and interpret official reports; review coverage forms and endorsements for thorough analysis.
• Maintain acceptable product quality through adherence to client Best Practices.
