Jobot, a long‑standing mortgage services leader, seeks a Senior Mortgage Underwriter to evaluate Conventional, FHA, and VA loan applications in a primarily remote role. You will process files through automated underwriter systems, make decisions, and support branch partners with complex scenarios.

The role emphasizes rapid turnaround, accuracy, and cross‑functional collaboration to help families secure financing for their homes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of mortgage underwriting experience.
• Active FHA Direct Endorsement (DE) and VA SAR/LAPP underwriting approval.
• Strong customer service mindset with a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Conventional, FHA, and VA loans per guidelines.
• Submit files through automated underwriting systems and evaluate results.
• Approve or pend loans and present files to loan committee.
• Assist branch partners with underwriting scenarios and questions.
• Maintain 24–48 hour turnaround on submissions.
