Job summary

Qualifications

• LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing commercial law, preferably in-house.
• Strong understanding of South African contract law, company law, and consumer protection legislation.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
• Experience with dispute resolution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on commercial contracts, including drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Advise on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and business law matters.
