Placements24 is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join a remote, international team. You will shape contract frameworks for complex projects, advise on governance and regulatory compliance, and mitigate risk across jurisdictions.

The role requires 7+ years in corporate and contract law, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver strategic legal guidance in a fast-paced environment. Remote-first setup with SA-wide flexibility.

Formación

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification.
• Admitted as Attorney or Advocate in relevant jurisdiction.
• 7+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate and contract law.
• Experience drafting and negotiating international contracts.
• Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work remotely.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including NDAs and licensing.
• Provide strategic guidance on governance, regulatory compliance, and risk.
• Conduct legal research to support business decisions and identify implications.
• Manage disputes with external counsel and coordinate resolution.
• Develop standardized templates and processes for efficiency.
• Monitor changes in laws and advise on business impact.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet legal needs.
