Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Last-Mile Delivery Operations Manager to oversee final delivery processes for a national e-commerce logistics partner. You will manage a dispersed team, optimize routes, and drive data-driven improvements to deliver outstanding customer service.

You will lead initiatives across regions with a focus on efficiency, costs, and compliance while leveraging advanced logistics software and performance metrics in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Admin or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in logistics and operations management focused on last-mile.
• Experience managing remote teams and distributed operations.
• Proven ability to develop and implement last-mile strategies.
• Knowledge of logistics software, route optimization tools, and fleet systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of last-mile delivery operations for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize routes, schedules, and resources.
• Lead a remote team of drivers and dispatchers with performance feedback.
• Use data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with tech partners to leverage route optimization, tracking, and tools.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and labor laws.
• Manage relationships with 3PL providers and independent contractors as needed.
• Reduce delivery times, cut costs, and enhance customer experience.
• Handle escalated issues with swift, effective resolution.
• Continuously improve operational processes and workflows.
