Job summary

HP, Inc. is seeking a Page Wide Industrial Remote Service Engineer to apply advanced technical knowledge in critical technology areas and resolve complex incidents while leading cross-technology projects.

The role focuses on designing specialized support solutions, nurturing senior-level client relationships, and contributing to operational and strategic plans. Travel up to 25% is expected in a remote-capable role across the US.

Qualifications

Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or commensurate work experience.
Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in HP products in Customer base, account management, computer customer support, on site customer support, Mission Critical, systems experience, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

Operates one or more critical/high-risk technology areas or customer groups with advanced technical knowledge.
Resolves incidents involving single or cross-technology and collaborates with team for complex issues.
Designs and implements support solutions using specialized industry knowledge.
Identifies potential future service revenue opportunities and participates in renewal discussions.
Maintains relationships up to senior management levels in assigned accounts.
Leads escalation and manages customer expectations.
Collaborates with internal groups to resolve client issues and improve products/processes.
Interprets business challenges and recommends best practices to improve services.
Leads moderate to high complexity projects and delivers professional reports.
Supports realization of operational and strategic plans.
