Job summary

CCMSI is seeking a Senior General Liability & Premises Liability Claims Adjuster (Remote) to investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex GL and BI claims for national accounts.

You will manage claims from assignment through resolution in a fully remote, national framework, requiring independent judgment, strong analytics, and proactive client communication. New York license is required, with home-state license, and 5+ years' experience.

Qualifications

• Active New York Adjuster License required.
• Active adjuster license in home state required.
• Minimum 5 years of General Liability and Premises Liability claim handling experience.
• Experience handling: Commercial General Liability (CGL), Premises Liability, Bodily Injury, and attorney-represented claims.
• Experience with litigation management and defense counsel oversight.
• Ability to work remotely in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multi-line liability claims (GL & BI).
• Manage claims involving trucking exposures, CGL, premises/product claims, and third-party liability.
• Determine coverage, assess liability, and develop defensible claim strategies.
• Review medical, legal, and vendor invoices; negotiate discrepancies.
• Establish, monitor, and adjust reserves aligned with exposure and authority.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and representatives.
• Engage, coordinate, and manage defense counsel or external vendors.
• Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities.
• Maintain detailed claim documentation and diary management.
• Support excess reporting requirements and client communication.
