Job summary

nCino is hiring a Senior Functional Consultant to lead delivery of its commercial banking solutions for community and regional banks. This client-facing role requires deep experience in commercial lending, regulatory awareness, and the ability to translate business requirements into functional designs and product demonstrations.

You will run projects, partner with technical teams, provide training and ongoing support, and communicate progress with executives and end users.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in banking or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Clear, audience-appropriate communication across levels.
• Leads projects with minimal oversight.
• Experience with agile delivery is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile software delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between clients and tech team; translate requirements into designs and specs.
• Provide strategic banking insights and regulatory guidance.
• Identify innovative solutions and benchmark best practices.
• Demonstrate nCino product capabilities and conduct demos/trainings.
• Manage project status updates and risk assessments.
• Drive adoption of nCino across financial institutions.
• Provide training and end-user support; create documentation.
• Lead SI partners to deliver compliant solutions.
• Apply agile methods to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Use AI tools to improve efficiency where applicable.
