Matillion is seeking a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to lead Maia rollouts, working remotely with distributed teams and onsite when needed. You will architect production-grade solutions, modify platform code where required, and uphold high engineering standards under delivery pressure.

You will own engagements end-to-end, build complex data pipelines across cloud platforms, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive adoption and expansion.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of production-grade software development and data integration experience.
• Expert Python, SQL, and OO skills (Java/Go) for reusable architectures.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Hands-on data pipelines and cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery.

• Own end-to-end customer engagements from discovery to production cut-over.
• Build complex data pipelines and integrations across cloud data platforms.
• Modify Matillion’s underlying codebase when needed, maintaining quality and security standards.
• Deliver MVPs quickly by diagnosing customer problems and narrowing scope to accelerate adoption.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
