Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect for a remote-first role. You will shape the enterprise technology vision, lead architecture across applications, data, and platforms, and partner with business leaders to deliver strategic outcomes.

The position emphasizes scalable cloud-native designs, APIs, external integrations, and secure architectures across AWS/Azure/GCP, with strong emphasis on collaboration in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years building scalable, multi-tier distributed cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing APIs and integrations with external systems including 3rd parties.
• Experience with cloud providers AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Front-end experience with ReactJS or similar frameworks.
• Experience designing secure systems following cybersecurity best practices.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS or related field.
• 15+ years of systems development across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate designs and build enterprise-wide solutions in collaboration with engineering, product, and leadership teams.
• Provide direction for architecture vision across application integration, data, and platform domains.
• Work on complex projects and contribute to the enterprise strategic vision.
• Plan migration toward cloud architectural vision and roadmap alignment.
• Advise business leaders with expert technical input to drive decisions.
• Assess industry trends and position subject areas strategically.
• Create roadmaps linking business strategies to capabilities and milestones.
• Deliver practical, timely architectural solutions.
