Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Principal Enterprise Architect for a remote US-wide role (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). The architect will define and realize the enterprise technology vision, collaborating with CTO teams, engineering, product, and program leadership to deliver scalable cloud-native solutions.

The role emphasizes API design, cloud strategy, data architectures, and security, with a focus on business alignment and strategic impact across IT domains.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of building scalable, multi-tier cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing APIs and integrations with external systems, including third parties.
• Experience with one of the cloud providers - AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience designing systems with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of front-end UI frameworks like ReactJS.
• Experience designing secure systems using cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating designs and building solutions across the enterprise, collaborating with engineering, product, and program leaders.
• Leads and provides direction to Architecture vision for enterprise applications.
• Works on complex projects, contributing to the strategic vision of the organization.
• Plans migration toward cloud architectural vision and guides implementation.
• Partners with business leaders to provide expert technical advice and influence decisions.
• Assesses industry trends and positions subject areas accordingly.
• Creates strategies and roadmaps linking business strategies to capabilities with milestones.
• Delivers pragmatic approaches to meet immediate business needs.
• Learns new information quickly in a matrixed organization and manages priorities.
