Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Embedded Robotics Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software powering autonomous robots across the full stack, from sensors to behavior.

You will collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business teams to ship robust, real-time systems and mentor junior engineers while delivering production-grade code. Qualified candidates have 6+ years in robotics software and strong C++/Python, ROS/ROS2 experience.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 in production projects.
• Solid experience with at least one of perception, localization, motion planning, or control.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filter techniques.
• Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo).
• Strong debugging skills in real-time and concurrent systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting field tests and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and integrate software systems powering autonomous robots and platforms.
• Work across the full robotics software stack from sensors to high-level perception and behavior.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust, production-grade solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code and design reviews.
